Contain Yourself Storage is a secure, self-storage business serving Corte Madera and the greater Marin community.


We built our leasing process to be simple and transparent:

All our containers are constructed from durable Corten steel with built-in ventilation for consistent airflow throughout the unit. Each unit has solid wood flooring, double-door access for easy loading, and 10-foot ceilings for abundant vertical space.

Tenants provide their own lock, so you will always be in control of who has access to your unit. 

A one-time $500 security deposit is due when you sign your lease.

Every unit is numbered and the property is secured with gated, locked entry.

Only you and those you trust can access your possessions.

Our facility is easily accessible from anywhere in Marin County.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • $500/month for our 8’ x 20’ containers and $1,000/month for our 8’ x 40’ containers when paying by ACH bank transfer or debit card. Credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee ($515 and $1,030/month respectively). 

  • Your first payment, which is your prorated rent plus your $500 security deposit, is charged when you complete your payment link. After that, rent is automatically charged on the last day of each month, in advance of the month ahead.

  • A $50 late fee applies if rent is not paid within 5 days of the due date.

  • You can access your unit daily from 6am to 8pm.

  • Yes. Our site is fully gated with locked entry, and each container is equipped with lighting for safe access, even after dark.

  • Yes. Tenants provide their own lock, so you are always in control of who has access to your unit.

  • Your unit will be ready for you on your selected move-in date. Simply unlock the gate using the access information shared with you via email, following the completion of your lease agreement and payment. Then you can drive up to your unit, load your items, and secure your unit with your provided lock.
